Bermuda, Start August / September, Home-school teacher for a gifted 6 year old.
Our client based on the beautiful island of Bermuda is starting the search for a qualified primary school teacher with UK curriculum experience, as well as SEN experience, especially centred on ASD and ADHD. This will be working solely with a young, very gifted girl aged 6 and will come with good accommodation, use of car, and very supportive working parents. Bermuda is just a 7 hour flight from London, and approximately 2 hours from many cities on the east coast of the USA. It has a very laid back feel, a speed limit of just 22 mph, and is a very sociable and welcoming island. The beaches and warm sea form a big part of the very outdoors life lived by many there.

| Role & Brief Job Description | Experienced and qualified KS1/2 teacher with classroom and home-school experience for a gifted girl aged 6. Working a typical Mon-Fri school type role, with occasional babysitting, taking the daughter to social events and outdoor learning, swimming, etc.

| Days / Hours of Work | 5 days per week x 8-10 hours daily |
| Salary Range | Negotiable tax free salary |
| Start Date & Duration | To start in August/September with a 2 year contract, Interviews now. |
| Accommodation Provided | Yes – separate studio / apartment nearby. |
| Essential Elements | Current /Previous experience (min 3 years) with children of similar age, and with ADHD/ASD.
Classroom teaching and home-school experience. Excellent written verifiable references, First Aid cert, Clear DBS (ideally on Update service) Confident driver, confident swimmer (pool, sea and from boats) Experience of UK curriculum KS1 and 2. |
| Preferred Elements | Formal qualifications/training focused on SEN including ADHD and ASD.
PGCE, QTS, B.Ed, Masters in Education. 2+ years in recent roles. |
