Job Summary:-

The Staff Driver plays a major role for the transport of persons, goods and/or sensitive documents on and offsite.  You maintain a positive overall impression, have great stamina, a positive attitude, and a dedication to excellence.

Background, Skills and Abilities:-

• The position is preferred for Saudi Nationals Only
• Must have full and clean international driver’s license
• Proven experience as a Driver
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
• Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts (flexible approach towards working hours is required)
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
• A high school diploma and must have fluent English communication skills and have numerical literacy
• Very high attention to detail at all time
• Performing all duties with the sense of priority and dedication, serving in a calm, discrete and courteous manner whilst respecting timing standards
• Absolute honesty, integrity, and reliability

General Duties and Responsibilities:-

• Transporting staff members and products to the destination point
• Helping with loading and unloading of goods, raw materials, and staff luggage
• Opting to a shorter or alternate route in case of traffic congestion
• Conducting timely vehicle maintenance checks and scheduling vehicle service appointments
• Informing the company of any accidents or vehicle damage
• Ensuring the safety of staff members and goods during the journey
• Identifying any mechanical issues in the vehicle
• Maintaining a record of vehicle maintenance receipts
• Reporting to work on time and in complete uniform
• Flexible as you are required to be contactable whilst immediate driving requests or short-term tasks will be a regularity in the role. This may include staff, goods and/or sensitive document
• Maintains exemplary department standards of behavior and appearance and attitude as expected
• Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
• The Staff Driver may be required from time to time to assist with other duties within their reasonable capabilities
• As with all members of staff, the Staff Driver is always on call in times of emergency or severe weather
