Our clients are two mid-30s professionals, laid back and generally quite chilled with their two boys.
The children are currently 21 months and 5 months. They are beautiful, happy and friendly.
The family live in St Lawrence Jersey, and have a friendly family dog which is very much part of the family. The Nanny would need to be comfortable with animals and happy to walk their family pet with the children on occasion.

The family enjoys being outdoors as much as possible, enjoying Jersey- beaches, parks and lots of outdoor areas and fresh air.

The ideal person the family is looking to employ is someone to build a relationship with the boys and treat them like family when caring for them being warm and friendly with a genuine caring personality. They are hoping that that their nanny will stay with them til their youngest goes to nursery class if possible. When applying for this role keep in mind it’s a long term position.

Ideally the nanny should be qualified to Cache Level 3, DBS checked or willing to get one as soon as possible, First Aid and experienced for at least 3-5 years. The family is also looking for someone to love the boys, enjoy spending time with them, get them out and about in Jersey, plan fun activities when the weather is a bit ‘too’ wet, so someone who is very energetic.

This is a sole charge role whilst both parents are at work. In September 2024 the eldest will go to nursery, the nanny will be required to have a drivers license to drop off and collect, and during the day only have the youngest child in your care.

The family will also be looking at someone who can just generally ‘muck in’ and use initiative. They should be happy to do a bit of their laundry and cooking, especially once the eldest is in nursery and you’ll only have the youngest at home.

Salary: Live in (£22,000 gross per year) Live out (£28,000 gross per year)
Hours: 40 Hours a week, one night babysitting (when required) weekends off. During school holidays you will only be working 20 hours a week and time off as one of the clients is a teacher and home during school holidays. You will be working sorter hours during school holidays or have time off.

Requirements: British and Irish Passport holders only for working purposes, (no visa available for other passport holders). You must be a fluent to native English speaker, Driver’s license required, excellent references, Qualifications and DBS in place.

This is a lovely long term role for the right person.
