Duties

First role – Caretaker (and occasional chauffeuring), joint monitoring of appliances, machines, property systems, maintenance of the property and its outhouses to ensure smooth running of property at all times (in anticipation of visits both scheduled and unexpected.)

Supervision of all security arrangements of the main building and its related grounds.

Maintenance of garden skills, gardening ability welcome

Co-lead contact for arrangements for family whilst in residence at the property with professionalism and meticulous organisation

Overseeing contractor visits to the property and seeking quotes for maintenance jobs

May require house managers to undertake other duties in addition to the above which are within the remit of caretaking and maintenance of the property.

Second role – house-keeper, responsible for running the property and includes joint maintenance of the property and outhouses, and supervision of all security arrangements in the main building and in its grounds.

Salary: Negotiable pending experience, £55 to 60K gross per year for the couple

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (some flexibility needed when the principals are in the property, 3 to 4 times per year).

*Driving would require full UK driving licence and ability to hire car
